Providing a safe therapeutic space to enable change and improve wellbeing

We are a network of independent psychologists and psychotherapists in Cumbria with therapists seeing clients for face to face sessions in Carlisle, Kendal, Wigton & Penrith.

We offer psychotherapy for people with a range of psychological and mental health difficulties including trauma, adverse life events, low mood/depression, anxiety/panic & relationship problems.

With Coronavirus remaining a concern for many, we can work on-line with you or, if you prefer, many of our therapists are able to provide therapy in-person in clean, well ventilated rooms with space to maintain social distance.

What is psychotherapy?

Psychotherapy is the process of working with someone to reduce distress and promote wellbeing. There are several evidence based approaches to psychotherapy.

When looking for a psychotherapist we recommend that the psychotherapy training should be at a post-graduate degree level and that the therapist should be experienced in working with the issues you face.

Take a look at our therapist pages and see who you think will be right for you or contact us for further guidance.
